Mexico's most popular bass fishing lake, Lake El Salto, is located 50 miles north of the seaside resort of Mazatlan.

El Salto has a healthy population of trophy size bass.  When the lake was first opened for public fishing its first bass fishermen found a trophy bonanza, with 85% of everyone who fished El Salto hooking the biggest fish of their lifetime. The aggressive bass of El Salto will strike a variety of lures all year, but topwaters and crankbaits are the best.

Our clients stay at a comfortable lakeside lodge. 

Rooms have air conditioning, private bedrooms and shower and bath combination. All suites are stocked with soft drinks and bottled water.

You will be awakened by our staff 1/2 hour prior to breakfast with a tray of coffee and juice. Hot breakfast is followed by the short trip to the boats. We are on the water before sunup!

Your knowledgeable guide will put you on the fish and recommend baits. Trust him, as he knows Lake El Salto and it's bass habitat!

All boats have an ample supply of beer, soft drinks and bottled water.

Return to the Lodge for a hot lunch and a short break then back to your boats and fish until dark.

Return to the El Salto Bass Fishing Lakeside Lodge to be met by lodge staff and their tray of goodies! Relax on the patio with your favorite beverage, followed by hors d'oeuvres and a sumptuous dinner. Relax watching fishing videos, play cards and chat or retire to your suite for a little television and a good night's sleep and dreams of the next day's bass fishing action!

Dinner at El Salto's Bass Fishing Lakeside Lodge consists of everything from Rib-Eye steaks and Jumbo shrimp, to meals with a Mexican flare. Wine is always available with the evening meal. Our Chef prepares a mixture of American, Mexican, and local seafood dishes that will please every angler.

Mazatlan with it's fantastic beaches, is your gateway city for El Salto and is serviced by airlines from all over the USA.  We will arrange your transportation from Mazatlan to both lakes.

Best Lures: Almost any type of lure will catch bass on El Salto. You should be able to use your favorite lure most of your trip and do great. Top waters are great! However a reasonable supply of crankbaits, spinners, and worms of almost any color will be fine.

Boats: All boats are 17 ft. fiberglass and Aluminum Bass Boats. They are equipped with two swivel seats, sonar, rod holders, drink holders, plus an elevated casting deck in front. Each boat is equipped with a 40 horsepower engine and the latest Trolling Motor with a new deep cycle trolling battery.
