As Lake El Salto experiences the tail end of the spawn, most BIG FISH are being caught on lizards. Carolina rigging & jigging with a motor oil, green pumpkin, or black w/ blue tail lizard has been producing very well. Also slow rolling a White spinner bait down the rocky banks seems to be working great. Numbers can be caught on a sluggo or hard jerk bait that dives down about 3-5 feet.

Dave Precht, editor of Bassmaster, and associates landed one-ten pounder, four-nine pounders, and seven-eight pounders. Tim Tucker, Hunter Cole & Matt Vincent with B.A.S.S. was part of the group and experienced excellence by slow rolling a white spinner through the tops of trees and on the rocky banks. Hunter ended up with four-eight pounders and one- nine pounder on the final day. Great job Hunter!
