Huites Bass Fishing Report for April 6, 2000

Report:

Just returned from 4 fantastic days of fishing 6-9 April 99.Our party of 4 must have caught 700-800 bass. One weighed in at 8 lbs 1oz. and one at 9 lbs. 5 oz. Caught many 3-5 lb. bass.Majority of fish were caught on top water baits but larger fish were caught on deep diving crank baits and 7 inch worms. The staff is superb and the food fantastic.We set some kind of record for Mexican beer consumed as initially we were going to drink a beer every time we caught a 3 lb. bass. Had to give up on that plan as there were simply too many fish---what a problem to deal with. This was my second trip to Villa del Pescador and I can honestly say there isn't a better deal to be found. Going back nextyear??? You better believe it.
