Report:

First, let me say thanks for a wonderful trip.

To be quite frank, I never really believed that it could have been as nice as it was. The lodge is great. The fishing, by my standards, was excellent.

The night we arrived, I had a little bit of a letdown when I was told that fishing was a little slow because of the cold weather.

Well, I proved him wrong. The first day, the first fish, I landed a 6.5 that I would have bet money was a 15 lb. bass.

I know all you old head Mexico bass anglers are used to these hard fighting Mexican bass, but for a adolescent Mexican bass angler, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. We finished the first day boating over 80 fish. That evening, I had to ask, is the fishing really slow?

Using mostly dark worms, the following two days, we caught fish too numerous to count, 5 to 7 lb. fish with my Dad catching a 9.9 the last day.

From start to finish, this is A+.
