At 2:00 it's back onto the lake for 4 more hours of lure crushing
bass fishing action. A cooler filled with cold beverages is provided
with each boat.

preparation.

Huites Bass Fishing Tackle
Baitcasters spooled with 20 pound test line on medium to heavy action
6 to 7 foot rods are recommended.
Chugger and Zara
Spooks in clear and chrome are good when the fish are feeding
on the surface.
Shallow through
deep diving crankbaits in chrome, chartreuse and crawfish
are a good idea to bring along.
Soft plastic
worms are the most productive. 4 through 12 inch in shad,
red shad, tequila sunrise and black are usually good colors.
Check prior to leaving for best colors and lure types.
Guides
and Boats
Guides are all native to the lake and speak enough English to make
your fishing easy.
Your bass fishing
guide will do his best every day to ensure you are on the
biggest fish all the time.
Lake Huites
Bass Fishing Guides usually like to fish some of the time
out of the back of the boat.
Boats are 18 foot fiberglass with 30 horsepower engines. They are
plenty fast and smooth riding.
Trophy
Fish Policy
Huites is a "Catch and Release Only" lake. We will photograph,
weigh and measure your Trophy fish. We can recommend excellent replica
specialists.
